One of the biggest functional changes you'll notice is the addition of a "tabbed" section in the middle of the front page that allows you to cycle through LGW.com's stories, a news feed, a video feed and also take a look at the Red Wings' upcoming schedule.
There are some other small layout bugs to work out that I couldn't iron out before the caffeine wore off tonight (this morning?), but I should be able to squash them over the next couple of days.
Other "static" areas of the site, such as the popular Salary Cap & Contracts page, will be migrated over to this look along with all of the Player Profiles and other pages.
Above all else, you should notice that the site loads faster as well. A lot of work went into tweaking the design a little to be a bit more bandwidth-friendly.
The Forums will also be getting a slight update as well to this format, though it'll only involve the very top of the page and isn't a big undertaking. Just a tweak.
Update (3:17pm): Looks like there are some funcionality issues in Firefox regarding the tabbed section on the front page. IE renders it fine, according to tests, but Firefox fails to load the content internally (and instead just goes to the raw page). That's a switch from the norm. Both were working on test version prior to the update. I'll try to get it nailed down ASAP.
Update 2 (10:30pm): It appears as though I've located the problem and all browsers are displaying everything fine. Let me know if you experience any problems!

FF is showing everything now. Great job!
