Ted Kulfan of the Detroit News posts up a good piece of news in his Wings Blog this afternoon in the form of a Tomas Holmstrom injury update: all tests have been negative -- no tears have been found in his injured abdominal/groin area. Holmstrom will be given a cortisone shot to help alleviate the pain but won't be able to return until April 2nd against Chicago at the earliest.

Holmstom has missed 10 games (including tonight's tilt against the St. Louis Blues) since suffering the injury. The Wings hope he can return before the start of the playoffs.
