Nicklas Lidstrom scored twice and Dominik Hasek made 27 saves as the Detroit Red Wings closed out the 2007-08 regular season with a 4-1 victory over the visiting Chicago Blackhawks. The win capped off a 115-point campaign for the Red Wings.
Jiri Hudler and Mark Hartigan also scored for the Red Wings as the team built up a 4-0 lead before Chicago rookie Patrick Kane spoiled Hasek's shutout bid with 2:20 remaining in regulation.
Nikolai Khabibulin made 34 saves for the Blackhawks, which where eliminated from playoff contention on Friday.
The Blackhawks won the regular season series 5-3.
