The Macomb Daily's Bruce MacLeod confirms today that head coach Mike Babcock has decided to insert swift-skating defenseman Brett Lebda in for fellow blueliner Andreas Lilja. Lebda practiced in the No. 3 pairing with Chris Chelios.
MacLeod also notes that it's highly likely that Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg will remain on the same line for the bulk of the time tonight after spending Wednesday's morning skate together. The second line consisted of Johan Franzen center Valtteri Filppula and Mikael Samuelsson.
