The Macomb Daily's Bruce MacLeod is on top of the Red Wings' practice session this morning and reports that forward Valtteri Filppula is back on the ice and practicing with regular linemates Johan Franzen and Mikael Samuelsson. Filppula had missed two days of practices due to a leg injury suffered late in last Thursday's series-clinching victory in Denver.
With Filppula back on the ice the Red Wings are skating with a full lineup. Defenseman Chris Chelios, who sat out last Thursday's Game 4 due to a re-aggravated leg injury, has not missed any practice time since and will be paired with Brett Lebda.
The only other change of note during the practice thus far was an altering of the top two defense pairings: Brad Stuart has moved up to the top unit with Nicklas Lidstrom while Brian Rafalski has moved down with Niklas Kronwall.
