Forward Valtteri Filppula, who missed two days of practice earlier this week due to a leg injury, will play in tonight's Game 1, said head coach Mike Babcock in a morning press conference. The status update means the Red Wings will ice a full team for tonight's Game 1 against the Dallas Stars. Forward Kirk Maltby, who is now healthy after suffering a hamstring injury late in the season, will remain a healthy scratch.
