No Franzen for Game 5

Although it comes as no surprise, official word that forward Johan Franzen will remain out of the lineup for Saturday's Game 5 has come down from the powers at be. Franzen was cleared for light off-ice workouts earlier this week and according to some reports the earliest he could resume skating would be this Friday. GM Ken Holland told the Associated Press that Franzen would have to practice with the club before returning to the lineup.

I was at the game on Wednesday and at times it looked like the Dallas Stars were a minor league club trying to defeat a cast of All-Stars. The only thing between the Wings and a Stanley Cup is Sutherland and McCreary!!! On a side note when are referees going to be punished by the league for being in the way of the play. Ten times during the game on Wednesday the puck hit referees that were far out of position!!
