Anomalously 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2007 The opposition. That's horrible. But I doubt Samuelsson's 12 SOG/game will add more than a goal every 4-5 games.
Guest Crymson Report post Posted February 28, 2007 That's horrible. But I doubt Samuelsson's 12 SOG/game will add more than a goal every 4-5 games. Sammy had around .66 ppg before injury. Mind you, this was when we were not scoring at all. I think he has the potential to come near .8 ppg with our improved lineup, provided that he can get back up to speed. dustin35 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2007 i say move lang for 1st or 2nd draft picks to make up for loosing picks and keep hudler. as soon as he gets ice he will be a force. i really would hate to see him leave.

Dude.. the trade deadline was today. We can no longer move anybody. EDIT: If you were referring to next season, Lang is a UFA after this postseason. Zion 93 Report post Posted February 28, 2007 Hope Sammy can score. It would be great to roll 4 lines almost evenly. Put Sammy, Flip and Hudler or Cleary on the 4th line.
rick zombo 3,739 Report post Posted February 28, 2007 Langfeld. Definitely Langfeld. And when/if Bertuzzi plays, I imagine Hudler will be used for depth. And oh what depth Detroit will have. Quite a change from last week when it looked like he could reasonably fill put the 2nd line.
andwing7 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2007 so i suppose kopecky is done for the year now for sure?!?! there is no room at all now
NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted February 28, 2007 Here's NFM's prediction: Kopecky is done for the season. When Cleary and Samuelsson return, that means Langfeld and one other has to go. With how impressive Filppula has been all season (and last night for that matter), now doubt he'll get the nod over Hudler. That being said, If someone take a sh*t-dive, the Wings are in great shape to bring in a hungry Hudler. When everyone gets back and Bert starts playing, this team should be rockin! GoalieManPat 1,007 Report post Posted February 28, 2007 My money is on Hudler. I just dont see him being able to do anything come playoff time when teams tighten down.

akustyk 84 Report post Posted February 28, 2007 Hudler isn't tough nor bug but he can play with teeth. if you watched Philly game where Wings were gooned endlessly, Jiri was quite fine despite his small frame. I hope he stays. he's been good on that 4th line with Flip my money goes for Langfeld as the odd man out. but this assuming Franzen goes on their line to add some bulk to this combination

jenova0 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2007 I figure Flip and Hudler will battle it out for the last spot, but Flip will probably get more playing time cuz he plays better defense. It's really not a slight on Hudler, but teams generally go with more experienced players in the playoffs. He will get playing time next year.
HockeyCrazy3033 168 Report post Posted February 28, 2007 Huds will be the one out. IMO. Hudler > Sammy.
