    Mantha has ensured himself a spot in the lineup until he retires! the hell with tanking this team is too proud to take that route. They'll keep drafting intelligently, and free agents will notice that there just might be something to this young core! besides, as a consumer, and someone from Mtl who drives 9 hrs to see the Wings play, paying so much to see the team lose on purpose is unacceptable. Can't imagine for season ticket holders!

    Just because something "happens all the time" doesn't mean it's okay.. there's some overreaction around everything Crosby does; good and bad, sure. But this kind of stuff is so unnecessary no matter who it is.. the sack tap at all let alone so close to this slash doesn't exactly help the reaction level to this incident either.
