    I kinda suspect Blashill is going out of his way to hold out the big guns (Larkin, Mantha, Bertuzzi, Athanasiou) for these first few games because their place in the lineup is already set and he wants to get as good a look at the borderline cases as possible.

    The kid's going to be awesome, they just were in a tough spot in terms of his development last year. In two years that kid will be squating like 600 lbs, he'll be impossible to move, his mitts and passing are already nice, and he's a super intense guy. He's going to be a monster to deal with. He'll be Martin Hanzel with better scoring. Yikes.

    Yeah, you're right. It is somewhat hard to get really going. But then the blackhawks jump up to nr 3 in the draft and my blood starts to boil.

    Bernier and Larsson tonight. That's a pretty solid lineup for the 'hawks. Should be a good test for the Wings n00bz, especially Seider. I guess the Wings aren't revealing the lineup.

    Nevermind: From Kahn: Scrap these lines. Blashill said he’s going with a mix of these players and some that played last night and didn’t skate this morning. Veleno, Zadina and Seider are playing. Mantha and Helm are not. Kaski and Abdelkader also on list of players with minor injuries. AA, Larkin och Bert out with minor injuries aswell.
