    Lidstrom's Norris chances?

Right you are Toby, they weren't playing them 8 times a year prior to the lockout...they were playing western conference teams 5 or 6 times a year and the eastern conference teams 1 or 2 times a year. It still remains that Mr. Lidstrom was lucky enough to play against weaker teams for most of his career. There is just no way his stats would have been this inflated if he played against the stronger eastern teams the same amount of times he played against the west. The lack of parity in the N.H.L schedule has clouded some peoples judgment for years and it continues to this day.

    Lidstrom's Norris chances?

As good as Lidstrom is , he has also been fortunate to have played his entire career in the relatively weaker western conference....check the stats when he plays the required one game against the eastern teams.....for the most part they go in to the minus figures...feasting on teams like Chicago, Columbus, etc. would put any defensemans numbers up. Those spectacular numbers he has would be much lower if teams were to play each other the same amount of games.

    Bertuzzi's 4 minute double minor

The shoot out call was correct. Some people just don't understand that the entire puck has to cross the line, not just a part of the puck. The close-up replays show that it is a non-issue. Check the video replay on nhl.com and try not to be too biased. Even without the video replay the refs would have had to call that a no goal.

    Bertuzzi's 4 minute double minor

Isn't it funny how some fans believe their team should be immune to the rules the other 29 teams have to follow and get penalties for. A high stick drawing blood has cut and dried penalties. If you knew hockey at all you would already know this. The words 'sorry about that' aren't in the rule book that the refs use. Get over it.
