I thought Ozzie played with a ton of confidence. Also, I know it's how Dom plays, but when all outta the net, it just gets my all nervous. Oz does it once in awhile, but it doesn't give me the same high anxiety with Dom. I really liked Ozzie's post game comments, when asked about how good Ellis was and if he admires when another goalie is playing like that, he totally interuped him and was like, no no no. I stay focused, only worry about myself. Didn't give him any credit like some guys do. He also said he hearts the Detroit fans when they cheer his name, it's very special to him and he think of the D as his home. He's so easy to cheer for! GO WINGS!

I put on my lucky Mac jersey and we scored 10 seconds later! Woo-hoo!

The guys on Versus just said Ellis is not letting out any rebounds, ya right. I saw a ton of really nice ones, we just gotta get one of those in the net! I like Samuelson for the winner, he was looking pretty quick, getting to all those lose pucks! GO WINGS!

I am so pummed for tonights game! I've got a really good feeling about Franzen, he's been playing so hard, let's see it pay off again Go Wings! I think the fans there will be so hyped up! Wish I could be there but I'll be cheering them on here!

I'm totally bias to Ozzie but for strictly selfish reasons. I had a big crush on him in 97 and he's obvi the better looking goalie. But also, he played so good this season, so I'm glad he is getting a chance, even tho it's not under the best circumstances.

At first when they cut over to the scrum, you couldn't see who was in there. Then, when they got it broken up, out skates Dats! Just gave me more of a reason to love this guy! And in the replay, you see him surrounded by like 3 or 4 guys, and you see him talking smack to some guys on their bench! right up in their faces too! I loved it! He's not described as our typical enforcer players, but he's always so loyal to his teammates. Good for him!

It's not ideal to go in there and lose both games, but I remember reading on here people writing they thought we were going to win the series in 5 or 6 games. So, it's not 5. A great game at home and the momentum is back. These guys are professionals, they are getting paid big money for situations just like this. I KNOW we can go it! Go wings! I'd love another big goal from Mac, that made me scare my cat and wake my bf up from a nap! You can't write that crap!

I was thinking the same thing! Last night the announcers were saying how Dats and Zet weren't considered the tougher guys but then everytime I saw a scuffle, Dats was in the middle of it. He was not talking crap from anyone, and he avoided that HUGE hit the 3rd period and sent that preds defenseman spinning! (couldn't remember which guy it was...) I thought he was playing with alot of passion and he just is so smart, can sense everthing.

Maybe I am not remembering correctly, but hasen't Bertuzzi played pretty well on the road this post season? Here's hoping he steps it up again this time! Go Wings, and I love that they have been starting these west coast games at 9pm. Go Wing dings!

So I am watching the game in ATL on versus, and what happens with 5 minutes left in the third period? My fricken screen goes BLACK. I thought at first it was maybe my entire cable box, but oh no....EVERY SINGLE OTHER CHANNEL WORKS!!!!!! I call the cable company and they said oh, it must be a network outage and there was nothing I could do. So I had to try to watch for updates for an hour on ESPNEWS until it came back finally, and what do I see....the ducks score. It was truly a terrible way to end my weekend. I HATE VERSUS.

I absolutely love that you wrote that you don't think the NHL would allow a bungee cord tied to goaltender. It's making me laugh so hard that I am having trouble typing. I can't believe people came on here and actually are getting riled up and say there is no way they would sign the petition, and that you are trying to change Hasek. Thanks for a lighter post.

Wow, I was very pleased with how Datsyuk played last night. He carries a very big load in PK and PP, and he is always creating chances for himself and others. I understand that he has a hefty salary but he is so unique and special, you have to lock him up. Would you honestly like to face him in the playoffs on a different team??? Be for real....

Wow Wow Wow Wow Wow! Talk about waiting until the last minute to tie up the game. I swear, I am so glad they didn't quit, don't get me wrong. But geez, they are killing me. I keep noticing throughout the game, that I was clencthing teeth SO Hard. I just could not control it. HIGH ANXIETY! I am so so so so proud of Filpilla and Kyle Quincy. Talk about stepping up when your team needs you. Zetteburg was pissing me off last night, kept making stupid passes ending up in odd man rushes. Can't wait for Saturday's game!

GOD! These 10pm games are killing me. But it's totally worth it! I have a great feeling about the game tonight. Much different than I was feeling on Monday. I feel like our veterans are going to step up, play the game at our tempo and take a early 2-0 lead. Let the Sharks and their fans worry a little bit. Start second guessing themselves. Hasek is doing great..and even if he doesn't hold up, we have Ozzie to fall back on! GO WINGS!!

During the game on saturday, my boyfriend kept yelling at hasek to stay in the net. It was hard to explain to him but that is how Hasek plays and as much as it makes my stomach flip, no one is going to be able to tell that old man not to play the puck. I guess it just comes with the territory.
