My beef with the Yotes is that not only have they been run poorly, but they’ve also manage to pi$$ away millions in which taxpayers were responsible for paying the tab. The Yotes have had more than enough time to turn that club around. I don’t think any other franchise in pro sports has been given so many chances - it’s an embarrassment to the league, and that team should’ve been relocated elsewhere years ago.

2 more wicked logo's that are currently found in the WHL that just happen to be in the Pacific Northwest, and have a Native American theme to them. For the love of God - we don't need this expansion to have a lame name like the Golden Knights...Sorry Vegas - everything about it simply sucks.

I like it - very plain, and to the point. The 'Hockeytown' moniker was great at the Joe, but now I feel the team needs to move on...Also - please take the 'Mr. I' patches (and any other patch for that matter) off the jerseys as well please, and thank you.

It's possible he was on (and taking meds) at that time, but as we all know you can only do so much to help someone (short of having them 'institutionalized').

Bouncing around the NHL like he did sounds like he may have had some issues (granted some 'star' players were moved around often back then too, but that was because their talent was in demand). Mental illness might be a factor here...

Lindros is right - want to get rid of concussions - eliminate checking from the game...Watch the number of viewers plummet if that does happen. Not that I'm wanting this to return, but allowing 2-line passes, and keeping both hands on the stick results in seeing players gaining speed into the attacking zone like never before, and back in 'the day' players would take 1 hand off the stick to 'bear hug' an opponent into the boards (now we see many shoves/cross checks from behind, and hits from behind). Those IMHO only add to the risk of head injuries.

Damn beat me to it. That tree in the middle of the ‘O’ of the OVG any indication that it could also be a team moniker - maybe the ‘Oakies’? Then again when I hear someone say Oakie - I’d think of Okie, and the Joad’s from the Grapes of Wrath.
