The fans deserve better after 8 years of missing the playoffs. The Ilitches are just selling mediocre crap at this point. Kind of like they've been doing with their pizza for decades.

Perry would help this team. He plays with an attitude (something no other Red Wings does) and is good around the net. Signing him almost guarantees a Cup Finals loss, which I'll take at this point.

Melrose? They definitely need a tougher coach. And some players who play with emotion. There's too many androgynous robots on this team. No fire. No passion. No personality. No leadership. The fans root for the logo in the front but that doesn't mean we don't have players we want to root for. -
We're back to one page GDTs. It was fun while it lasted. Better luck next year I guess.

No bad luck. They were riding a ridiculous powerplay to win games. That was going to tail off. They're still a one line team with a bunch of players who are similar to each other.

Well, the cartoon should be more realistic to Detroit.

Chiefs of course in the AFC. The Lions were fortunate to beat them with Kelce/Jones out, plus Toney was either paid off by the Lions or confused about which team he was playing for. Miami has no defense. 49ers are the best NFC team right now. There aren't any women that hot in Detroit.

This team won't come close to making the playoffs. Debrincat gets injured early and misses most of the season. Sprong becomes the team's enforcer, emboldened by his offseason beating of a scrawny racecar driver. Yzerman resigns in the offseason.

If they pan out, sure. Nobody knows how good any of these players will become. There's never been a draft where even one-half of the first round wasn't a bust.
