Valtteri Filppula will want more than 4 million next year, and will no doubt look actually quite nice in a Flames jersey centring Hudler on the "I want more than I'm worth line". I'm still working on line names, but that one seems fitting so far. I was a big Filppula fan until he s*** the bed in his contract year after getting paid for potential in his 5 year 15 million contract he's on now. I still like him, but at 3.5 max.

Ah, it was Z to Dats. Nice find dude. That was such an awesome goal. Those 2 have more than a top 10 together, and that's a good reason why they should never be split up. Make some other guys step up. If we don't have enough point getters to fill a top 6 with Dats and Z on the same line, that needs to be remedied.

The only way you can identify Kesler's shadow, is that it dives too. Agreed, so we don't require any Cansucks players. I'd rather wait it out to try and get Clarkson or Ryder. I almost spit my drink on my laptop. You know when teams have something in the tunnel for inspiration that they all touch on the way out for good luck.....? I guess that is the Canucks good luck charm. Too bad it led to a sweep on the bad end.

I watched that video right before the OT where Goose got the winner in OT. It just felt like the right thing to do. I was thinking the same thing. Man Z and Dats have combined for some dirty goals. I still remember the pass that I believe it was again Dats to Z where he was going around the net and passed it off before he got half way around leaving Z a wide open net with a blushing goalie. Someone's gotta remember that one... And to the OP, Z's clapper is more accurate than his wrister apparently. It's a complete anomaly. He's still be getting 30+ goals a year if his wrister could just hit the net.

Edler would be good, but we'd need to send someone back cause of our logjam. Isn't Backman a lot like Edler though? I'd love Kassian, or Raymond to play with Helm and Tootoo.
