I feel like a thread that was meant to give hope for our amazing hockey team is being turned into a religious debate. If you don't like that it is about prayer, then don't post anything. If the fact that it's a prayer bothers you, pretend it's a best wishes or good luck post. It gives fans hope and faith in their teams ability, why mess with a good thing?

Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers I just read the article about the leader of the team who was killed and is having a battleship named after him. Sounded like and intense story!! And the mission was called Operation Red Wings? At some point in my life I'd like to read that book.

Red Wings will NOT dominate the play. They will NOT out score the Sharks. In fact, Marleau will finally get the monkey off his back by scoring 4 goals. Thornton will assist on all of them. This. Although, after the femoral artery passes the knee joint it branches into three smaller arteries (popliteal and anterior and posterior tibial) which supply blood to the lower leg. They would still be gushers if they were severed, but just not as bad as the femoral. However they would still take time to be cauterized. So anyway...photoshop....

No that's exactly what I've been doing! I watched every minute of 1-3. Watched a total of about 4 live minutes of games 4 and 5 and just checked up on the scores. I DVRed them and watched them after the games had ended and so far so good. Go for it!

Against PHX it was: Wear red anywhere in my outfit and eat a 1/2 bag of puppy chow during the game. This round is more involved because I have to do everything I did when we won game 4: Metallic eyeshadow with Winged eyeliner. Wing earrings Red Wings dogtag Black shirt NO playing video games!!! Oh and my nail polish can't be overly chipped and I have to have my game recap done before the next game.

I have never seen a team play with so much honor and dignity. I really hope they do NOT let the Wings score early. I hope they do NOT blow any leads. I hope they do NOT get discouraged. And I hope that the crowd at the Joe is NOT rocking so loud that their eardrums bleed. Oh, and I hope this series does NOT go back to San Jose. Marleau with the hatty, Thornton with a million assists, Clowe and Boyle with 1 each, and Neimi with the SHUT OUT.

This one worked last time: Maybe Heatly will drive the team to the game...you know, to save on gas. Go Sharks!!!

Ok, this is the best I could get. That's the underside of them, obviously. Like said this round is really ugly. The game 1 bracelet is broken, game 3 is messed up, and game 4 is loosely tied. And yes, I saw the LOTR reference but I didn't know who you were referring to!! If we were hobbits Danny would be Pippin and I'd probably be Sam.

My camera sucks so I can't take pics of my bracelets. I got the 1st round as braided embroidery thread with white beads for how many goals we scored and the game winning bead is slightly larger than the others. All 4 are tied to a charm that says "Focus". The 2nd round is the same expect no large beads until last night. Those are all tied to a charm that says "Integrity". The red one from last night also has a "Strength" charm hanging from it. They look really ugly right now but hopefully after this round I can clean them up as opposed to throw them away.

WHOOO let's go Sharks!! Make it deja vu all over again for these Wings! Now would be a terrible time to choke so don't do that. Don't play bad defense. Don't let Datsyuk score. And do whatever you can to make sure this series does NOT get to 7!!!!

Wow! I'm more of a country person but I really liked that. I always love it when they can fit all the players in the song, I think it's creative. "Datsyuk breaking ankles" My favorite was "Helm is just the man" because well...he is.

Pst...I know we're not supposed to make requests but before this series ends someone should make a Thor-like movie poster. Except instead of Thor's face and the words "god of thunder" over it, it should be Lidstrom's face with "god of hockey" over it.

I don't want to harbor the thought of tonight being Nick Lidstrom's last game. I do, however, want the Wings to fight. And I expect them to. If any team can make history, it's the Wings. If I'm crazy for still believing they have a chance, then I'm crazy. But as much as reality says it won't happen I still believe it can. And if fricking NASHVILLE can get one game against Vancouver why can't we get one against the Sharks?!

If this is to be our end, then I would have them make SUCH an end as to be worthy of remembrance...

Hopefully the Sharks can close this series with a sweep AND a shutout. Oh! And maybe Thornton with a 5 point night or something, assisting on another Setoguchi at trick and goals from Pavelski and Marleau. How's that for jinx!!

Maybe by some miracle Heatly will drive the team bus to game 4... I'm sorry if that was tasteless but...I don't care.

I say because of this Wings start Game 3 with a 1-0 lead.
