Some of these posts are just ridiculous. A lot of people on this board spent quite a bit of time spamming about wanting Hossa to Detroit, and now that he's with the Pengs, you get all excited because he's hurt. Obviously I'm not talking about every single one of you, but those who I'm talking about know, and need to grow up.

I have to agree with a lot of you, that this team can definitely win the cup this year. The only thing I can see people on this forum are either forgetting, or just pretending to forget, is that the Red Wings did start losing games that they shouldn't have, and started playing a little worse then normal before the top 4 D-men got injured. I understand every team has it's slumps, and thats perfectly acceptable, but there isn't really a need to blame the entire slump on injuries. If you look at some of the past games, like Stars & Avs, even with injuries at the time, they still played better then when they were all healthy and losing, at the start of the slump. The injuries is just an excuse.
