Drop a line to Puckloo. She's from around that area and may be able to help you out!
Thank you for the help....

I was wondering if there are any Red Wings fans in Austin, TX, and or any good bars that carry the wings game in the general area. Thanks

#6 Bryan Little
He is an RFA and a huge chip. The Thrashers have cap space according to the NHL, but their self-imposed space may mean they have to actually make space. Little is a potential star.
Teams rumored to have interest...Montreal and Detroit
little 5`10 190
08-09 79gp -- 31g -- 20 as =51pts
09-10 79gp -- 13g -- 21as -- 34 pts
09-10 salary 850.000
not a bad player
Eklund is somewhat turdish.....

Wow what do you know.. Newfy made another one of these threads, surprising right?
Okay I think this is the last one(we'll see) but here is another pretty good option for our gritty 4th line type guy. He's definitely not my first choice but he isn't an awful choice either.
I think the biggest thing to look at here is the ice time. He can consistently put in 10 minutes a night without being a huge liability as well as put up 20 points roughly a season. He is definitely a tougher player, he had 13 fights one season but that number was down to 3 last year and 5 the year before. He's 31 which isn't too old and still play 9 or 10 minutes a night. He has very similar size to Abdelkader.
He doesn't fight as much anymore but will step in for his team and definitely defend himself. He is very similar to Dallas Drake. Check this fight out.

or this one which shows he can hit pretty good and will answer the bell.

What do you guys think?
3rd person reference alert...... And I agree..

Exactly - we definitely need a player on this team that will stand up for his teammates and hold other teams accountable, but at the same token, he needs to be defensively responsible and still chip in a couple points... I would LOVE to see a guy like Clarkson from NJ here, but I don't see them letting him get away, as he has potential to be a true power forward who can get you 20+ goals a year in addition to his toughness... with that said, I think Arron Asham, Eric Nystrom or Brad Winchester would all be good additions to this team for what they offer, depending on the price tag...
Armstrong and Asham are the two that I have in mind. Its been reported the wings have had Armstrong in their sight the last 3-4 off-seasons. I would like them to snag him this off-season for 2-3 years. A scrapper that will fight with the best of them, has great play making ability, and can score a solid 20-25 a year.

I would love to see a fighter brought to the team. The last several years there are several "hybrid" type players who have the grit, and everyday player ability to stay with the team. What do you think about a solid fighter on the team?

Would like Armstrong, or Higgins. More of a grit guy, Ashem and his huuugggeee head would be good.

Cory Emmerton are that we have a chance to see him play a couple of game with the Wings this year, `I've seen playing in the Ontario Junior is it was very good, very good marker.very good prospect for the future...
evan mcgrath he`s still on the red wings organization or not ???He was supposed to be a good player in the nhl ,in the junior
it was a very good shooter ,
Jesus Christ. How f***ed up are you tonight. You sound like the local dry cleaner after a dozen beers.

Wow. Ft. Myers and Orlando. That's a bit of a surprise. Must have been a hell of a lead-in.

Over/Under is 5.5. What do you think?

TRADED to the Devils at 7:15 tonight. Interesting.

Wow. They still suck.

Yes. At Jimmy Devellano's apartment in Detroit. He invited us over for pictures and drinks with the cup in '98. I was 17, and we had the cup there along with several of his rings from the NHL, and AHL. Cool little piece of hockey history he shared with us that day. Mr. D is a great guy. Thanks Dr. O'Malley.

Eaves fight. Good one? How Patty do?
-
I missed the Eaves fight. Was it a good one? Who came out the victor?
-
Solid 2nd liner, with a penalty kill and power play motor that keeps on going. Guy is a real hockey player with the attitude that Detroit fans love.
-
5-2 Wings. Fleury gives up 2 more very weak goals. Hossa x2, Franzen, Flip, Kronwall, Maltby. And Cindy in tears on the bench.
-
I have been lucky enough to grow up in the a few minutes from Downtown Detroit, and have been a CBC viewer for the 26 years of my existence. Yet, for this series I am going to need a barf bag, and a mute button because of the Sid talk. NBC does it as well, but CBC will be on in my home. Which do you prefer?
-
5-2 Wings. Val, Hossa x2, Lids, Franzen. And for me, 12 beers, some whiskey, and vomit on a sidewalk somewhere downtown. Sounds like a heavenly weekend.

Abby is one of those players that is at the right place at the right time all the time. I listen the Sirius CBC hockey and when they speak of all the youth the wings have in GR, they always bring up Abby as the player to watch for. This kid is fun to watch, makes plays with his grit and speed. He will kick some ars on Sunday.

hahahahaha. The guy is a freak. We are spoiled as fans.
