Luke Pither is a solid player in the OHL, hes top 10 in points. I know he wasn't drafted and I don't think any NHL team owns his rights. Would it be worth to maybe give him a chance?

Detroit can absoluetly break out of this slump. There is still over 20 games left in the season. There is lots of time to get things going. The Wings still control their own destiny.

There is still lots of games left for Detroit to sort it out. Detroit missing the playoffs should only be discussed if it happens. If Detroit can get things going then we can still be a legitimate Stanley Cup threat this year. They just need to get hot, and we have to support our team all the way to the finish.

I would prefer to see some of the young prospects get a few games. At least that is some experience they can get.

Wow. thats a lot of money. I also just noticed his career NHL point total is 1599. Thats a nice career. So close to 1600.

With Hossa signing and about 4 mil left with the cap and filp has to be signed. What is the status of Chelios? Is there anything new there? Or does signing Hossa hinder that? I'm not sure

I would kind of like to see all the teams in one big division. That way any one could play any one else in the Stanley Cup finals. It could bring back those old original 6 rivilaries to the cup finals or Detroit vs Colorado.

Expansion would bring more crappy players into the league that are not good enough and more knuckleheads into the league

Very nice career by Dom. One of the best. This is also very smart to retire after winning the cup. Retire while at the top.

If the NHL would go to no touch icing. They should change the icing line from the center line to your own blue line. Icing is to prevent teams from clearing it from there own zone and i've noticed alot of icings are in the neutral zone. If your dumping it from the neutral zone you shouldn't be called for it. Also changing the icing line from the center to your own blue line could eliminate the trap.

If Detroit is on a hot streak going into the playoffs I wouldn't be too worried about anyone because in the playoffs anyone can beat anyone.

If Cheli plays another year it just takes a place of a young guy who could be getting NHL experience. We need to get some of our young defense starting next year.

I don't like Gill too much. I find that he is too slow and he seems to be out of position alot.
