After some time of watching him on the ice and trying to figure out what he was missing I decided he just doesn't have any moxy while he is playing the game. He can make good plays and is seemingly responsible with the puck, but he plays with little heart. There is no battle to his game and many nights he is just invisible on the ice. There is little excitement to his play. I don't hate the guy but he is so... meh

I was just thinking the same exact thing...! I love how the commentators were discussing the goal and stated that there was no way it could be called back because the play was not reviewable, and then the goal gets called back. (side note - it was goal tender interference)

I was thinking about how much everyone talks about the western conference domination and thought I would put it into numbers to see if it actually panned out. Here is what I found. The east and west battled each other 260 times thus far. The record for the western conference is 150-83-27. The record for the eastern conference is 110-116-34. Given those numbers the West has beaten the East 57.7% of the time while the East is 42.3% so far this season. I then looked at each individual team in the East to see their records vs. western conference teams. Only one team has a winning record against the western conference and that is Washington (9-4-3), also note that they still have two games remaining in the western conference. When you switch it up it is amazing... most of the teams in the West have a winning record against the East with the exception of three teams (Edmonton, Dallas, and Columbus) Why the disparity between the conferences? I would think that travel in the west would give the east an advantage. Thoughts?

It would be great to see the top 16 teams in the league battle for the cup, but that will never happen. I do like your idea about division leaders however.

I have been asked numerous times what a redwing is and why the logo - I never really had the answer. This morning I did a little research...the logo came from the Montreal Amateur Athletic Association who won the first ever Stanley Cup in 1893, they were also known as the Winged Wheelers. When the team was sold in 1932 to James Norris (a member of the MAAA) he switched the logo to its current format. He adapted the logo from the original MAAA logo. I can assume why he chose the name Wings from the MAAA team name, however it is unclear why Red. Just curious if anyone knows the significance of the color. It could be so much that it was his favorite color or maybe there is something more. Thoughts?

I am trying to get NHL center ICE on comcast and they can't seem to do it. Anyone else have this issue? They are "working" on it right now, but say that they can't find the package, that their system is not updated!
