I wouldn't expect anything less from Lidstrom. Time and time again he proves what a great hockey player he is and also what a great person he is. The Red Wings organization is greatly indebted to Lidstrom and it will be a sad day when he decides to hang up his skates.

Welp, we had a Cup win two years ago and a near miss on it last year. Even if we get knocked out in the second round this year, I'll still be satisfied. One can't make it deep into the playoffs every year, and we've been lucky to see the Wings make it deep for the past three seasons.
Go Wings!
Edit: Note that I'm not giving up until the horn sounds on the final game of this team's playoffs.
Edit 2: It's also pretty hard to win a series when all of the calls are going the other team's way.

i guess the 1 consolation is that even though the wings have played 2 very poor games, the sharks only just beat them both times. if the wings can stay out of the box and maybe get a few breaks go their way then this series is still very much there to be won IMO.
