Wade Redden has been placed on waivers from the New York Rangers.. this man has 450 points in 994 games. Remember now, he was drafted 2nd overall in the first round by the Rangers back in 1995... he might be 35 but he can definitely provide the defense for Detroit. Thoughts?

Regardless of what everyone thinks about Roberto Luongo, he is still an All Star goaltender who will make any team happy. I believe the best fit for him would be Philadelphia. They could use a new starting goaltender with Bryzgalov on backup.

So.. the guy is 37 years old.. I mean, not much more he can prove.. let alone provide considering his injuries.. He also stated he wouldn't play for another team if Detroit didn't want to resign him.. so that leaves retirement... What do you guys think he will do? I'm saying he's done and if so, Detroit should retire his jersey.

We hate them because they are so far away. Detroit should be in the Eastern conference. Detroit gets screwed with their away games, especially with the 10pm starts.

I think he could produce 15-20 goals MAYBE. We don't need any "MAYBE'S" though. Sign Carter or Richards and ill be happy.

Okay don't hate me.. but Lilja is garbage. The best thing Detroit did was get rid of him and Lebda. They might be big dudes and physical, but we have enough of those guys now.. We need skills more then anything and look, we have that now too. Obviously they are good players because they are in the NHL, but seriously, Detroit needs better defenseman and Lilja isn't that great. On a side note... LETS GO WINGS!!!!!!
