I stand by what I said, the Wings were on the play-off bubble and fought up to fifth to make the play-offs in the time after the Olympic break. Yea, you may be not be a troll, so i apologize there, i was getting your posts confused with another blackhawk fan over here. So thats my mistake. I don't mind the Blackhawks as a team, but their management is horrendous. Hossa is an annual choke (should have been traded to the sharks, that would have made some sense) Huet? I don't think he was worth that contract when he was good wait, last year? two years ago? Heh... and now to just bury their mistake in the minors seems pretty low. I guess all I'm trying to say is that you don't get people to take a 'hometown' discount by crapping money out on bad contracts and throwing them on waivers when the contract doesn't benefit you. So Gordon Bombay, you're not a troll and I can understand that yea, it's nice to be hopeful about a good solid team next year, the core is there, you're correct, but you really can't include Hossa ... he, well ... yea. The Hawks are in major re-build mode after buying a Cup. So it is what it is and I'm sure the front office knew that. October here yet?

I agree. We need to trade the WINNING goalie of the Chicago/Detroit series for the LOSING goalie. While we're shaking up the rosters here, lets trade Kenny for this guy. He knows how to build a competitive team every year. Trade the winners away for the losers! However, I agree we needed a stronger play-off presence from SOMEONE on our team. However, as we now know, just because Hossa was good two years ago, and sucked this year, he may be on fire next year. It's an intangible thing this play-off hockey. But still. Listen up Red Wing fans. We have it all wrong. Rules to be used when playing Cindy Crysby: 1) Under NO circumstances are you allowed to touch him or take the puck. Unless you want to have a penalty called or face the wrath of his whining. 2) When Penguins interfere with every one of your dump-in plays it is good. When Penguins dump in the puck, and Franzen does them one up by putting a legal hip-check on Crysby (who tried to jump over him??) It's a cheap shot! yea! 3) When lining up for hand-shakes, you must search out Cindy Crysby in all his glory and beg for him to shake your hand. He is in no way obligated to shake your hand, after-all you are all inferior.

I don't want to hear any excuses about his first cup win or being twenty-one or being in an interview. If you wear the 'C' you act like a 'C'. No ifs ands or buts about it. If Crosby wants to do an interview before showing the sportsmanship that the NHL is known for ... take his C away and give it to the person who won them the cup. Scuderi. (probably spelled wrong)

I'm thinking it has something to do with away ice. If you recall, Helm, Darth AbdelVader, and a few others were all called up at the same time I do believe. Helm immediately joined the team while It seems AbdelVader only plays home games.

were the stars fans chanting osgood at the beginning of the game? even THEY think osgood is better than turco if i heard them right.

if the wings go into the finals playing 100% and lose. then no. but if we don't play the same game we've been playing these playoffs. then it is a terrible disappointment. if both teams play 100% and we lose. then i'm okay with that.
