Correct me if I'm wrong.
Every game 7 the Wings have played since 1994, the team that scored first won. So scoring first is huge tonight.
Especially the way that Johnson line comes out of the gates

The Habs are already my second favorite team. I'd bet good money Subban throws 5+ hits that are worse than this, and won't receive a god damn thing for it.

The fact that Palat doesn't even get a call, is bulls***. Leaves his feet, targets the head. I would have been fine with a Kronwall suspension if Palat was out too.

If either coach goes ends up going to Edmonton, watch up. Their center depth was already out of control. A good GM should be able at least pull them out of a bottom 5 spot. Although, there is still alot wrong with that front office.

I hope it goes to 7 and we lose by a goal in 8th overtime. I do love my Wings but Yzerman did so much for this team I think I want Tampa to win now.

f*** Steve Yzerman. He's not the Red Wings, and the Red Wings aren't him. He stopped getting the Gordie Howe treatment the second he associated himself with another active NHL hockey team. Particularly with one that we're playing in the playoffs.
I hope we crush Stevie, the Lightening, the city of Tampa, and the whole state of Florida for that matter. Let an earthquake crumble it, let the fires rage, let it burn tof****** ash and then let the waters rise and submerge the whole rat-infested place, Stevie right along with it.

I will love Steve forever. What he did for this city defined my childhood. Still, I don't see how anyone can actively root for the enemy.
Just a little emotional about the whole thing. Especially because our chances aren't incredibly high.
