Geeeez. You don't think he has himself to blame for getting suspended or making knee-on-knee hits that ended up hurting himself? The way Ovie plays leads to him getting a ton of points. It also leads, and will continue to lead, to him getting injured or suspended. Better get used to saying "ovie would have won it if he hadn't missed X games" because that is what his career will look like. The Art Ross is about total points. Not best points-per-game or most points by a player who missed a minimum of 10 games. Henrik Sedin hasn't missed a game in 4 seasons. That is impressive.

I think the Sedin goal last night is the goal of the year.. I'm usually not that impressed by the between-the-legs move, but that was slick as hell because it was actually the right thing to do because of Kipper poke-checking, instead of just someting he did to be flashy, and the UNBELIEVABLE no-look pass by Henrik puts it over the top. Stamkos goal was fantastic too, but on a pure "beauty" level the Sedin goal wins.

For the playoffs, I think you should atleast start the scoring from scratch. Give everyone a chance to participate. It's a fun game but I wonder if there aren't changes that could make it more interesting.. most people pick atleast two of Z/Pav/Mule. Maybe if we picked just one guy from each team? I think when it comes to the Rocket Richard they just do a tie if players end up on the same total, it's not like the Art Ross where the player with the least games played wins it.

I hope the Bruins swarm Ovie with 3 players every shift.. and start RASK!! They need to keep Ovie to less than 3 points and no goals. Stamkos and Sedin FTW! Also to the guy saying these points shouldn't count because Calgary wasn't trying, have you seen Washington's division this year?? They have been facing 4 teams that haven't been trying all year.

just a note: Washington is +86, Pittsburgh +20. also the people who say Ovie would have x more goals and y more assists if he played 82 games, you don't think that the way he plays the game leads to both him getting a lot of points AND him being a high risk for injury/suspension? If he calmed down a bit he could play 82 games but then he probably wouldn't score at quite the same pace. Better get used to him missing games.

Eh, he doesn't scare me. The two games we played against them this year he didn't have a goal in and in one of the games he didn't have a shot. He can be shut down by, they just don't do that sort of thing in the East.

After this season it's an accomplishment and it's nice to keep the streak alive. However it's obviously easier nowadays with the loser-point. We have 14 of those..

Feels like the Jackets get a quality chance every time they enter the Wings zone. Not much of a defense tonight. Still 0-0 though. Howie is playing well and getting a bit lucky too.
