1. Lundqvist 2. Brodeur 3. Evgeni Nabokov Those are the three that stand out for me. I see most people have Marty B as no.1, am I the only one who thinks he has started to slip a bit? He seems to have started to let in some very weak goals every now and then.. still a definite top 3, but I think this is the year when Lundqvist will take the vezina. P.S I'm obviously biased since I'm from Sweden, but still.

Don't forget Lidstrom as well. The three best.

I'd like to see Datsyuk-Zetterberg-Franzen Hossa-Filppula-Homer atleast sometime during the season. Not that this is looking all that bad, and I'm sure it will get much better as the new lines get more in tune. Still think that Hossa is just waiting for the playoffs though. That's why he came to Detroit, I doubt he is going to give it his all during atleast the first 70 games. But a Hossa playing at 80% is still a good player.. P.S. Franzen is amazing. He's a completely different player now than he was in the beginning of last season.

Finally a game I'll be able to see! Even though it will just be crappy livestreams, it's better than nothing. I know very little of this season's edition of the Hurricanes, but I obviously predict a Red Wings win 5-1. Zetterberg 2, Franzen 1, Filppula 1, Homer 1.

How about Datsyuk and Hossa? How is their line working out?

I don't think it's fair to expect one of the top defensive forwards of the league to also win the Art Ross, but if anyone can do it it's Z or Dats. I'm constantly amazed by those two and their ability to be the first ones home to defend, and the first ones up on the offense. What I expect from Z this season? If he can play even half as good as he did in the playoffs for most of the season, he's done more than I could ask for. If all three stay healthy, I expect atleast two of Z, D and H to reach 100 points. If all three did it it'd be crazy.

Happy b-day Pavel! I hope plays as long as Larionov did, I want atleast 10 more years of Datsyuk's magic. With the way he plays, I think it's definitely possible, he's not very prone to injuries.
