I agree he is playing great ... I wasn't impressed with him than last time he was with the Wings, but this time he is playing great at both ends of the ice. Holmer is playing better this year too.

I highly doubt that will happen ... I could see him waiving it only for maybe San Jose (Cali teams)) I agree with you diehard ... Stuart was great in the playoffs and during the regular season. One or two mistakes shouldn't count against his entire play for the Wings. Some of these "arm chair coaches" sure don't seem to know much about it.

since when is this a Pen's forum? whats with this we stuff with that being said I certainly don't think they are a dynasty nor will the be one any time soon. I wonder why "THE FACE" of the NHL wasn't required to be there ... maybe he should be suspended for a game at the beginning of next season like Lids and Datsyuk were for the first game back after All Star break I think he was afraid to face Lids after the hand shake debacle

I can't stand the gold used in some teams jerseys (Pittsburghs) and when Nashville had those baby poo gold uni's ackkkkkkkkkkkk our local minor league team is using that color now too and I can't stand it I love that the RedWings don't cowtow to the league and they continue go with the classic colors and logo

everyone has a right to their opinion whether you agree with it or not.

The reason Mr Ilitch didn't shake Bettman's hand was because Bettman snubbed them during his Cup presentation speech ... when the commissioner gives his speech it is customary for him to say something about both teams who played in the finals and thier respective owners ... Bettman didn't say anything about the RedWings nor the Ilitch's .. like the Penguins were the only team who played in the Cup finals. After all the Ilitch's have done to promote the NHL and put up with in the treatment of them I don't blame him for not shaking his hand ... amybe Bettman will finally get a clue from it.

sorry I don't think the Wings would still be in the playoffs if it wasn't for Ozzie .. he pulled them through some very rough first periods in all of the series when they could have easily been blown outta the water with no chance of any come back. He single handedly kept them in some games early in numerous games until the Wings got their legs under them and started playing like they could/should. and the same could be said for Z .. he has kept scoring while tying up Sid (who by the way has ONLY 1 goal and 1 assist) in the series ... Malkin is just a one way player, and how many of his points have come at even strength? seems they can only score on the PP and he doesn't even play on the PK Z does it all.

Ozzie deserves it so much more than Malkin does ... and Z is a close second

... Sid is a very talented player BUT his ego out does him ... he was handed the Captaincy too soon and didn't really earn it. He hasn't grown up yet and IMO he has no clue on how to lead in the vain of Yzerman or Lids ... or is it that us Wings fans just spoiled by Stevie and Lids?
