Sweetheart of a deal for Philly. Voracek has a lot of potential, he only scored 20 fewer points than Carter this past season and will likely do better next season, and it frees up a ton of space for Bryz. Oh yeah, and they get 1st and 3rd round picks. Columbus gets Carter who had a pretty down season by his standards and who will need to step it up big-time on a team which struggles like the Blue Jackets. I know that usually whoever gets the best player wins the trade but I think the tables are turned on this one.

He was pretty terrible in the SCF and wasn't anything special in the remainder of the playoffs either. Maybe chalk it up to inexperience or nerves but he didn't bring it when it counted.

Honestly, I don't really care what you post anymore - I'm sure you've thought your ideas out pretty thoroughly and some of them might even be pretty good ones. The reason everybody is bitter about your threads is that there are So. *******. Many. of them. The "never cry wolf" story fits pretty well here - you cry wolf about lines and off-season moves so often that people just don't care anymore. As far as the bitterness of the forum - hey, deal with it. It's a consequence of the winning environment fostered by the team over the last 20 years - the fans get bitter when the team isn't winning. We're completely spoiled, unlike fans of most other Michigan teams. That's the way it is around here, and it's not going to change.

No, the title of this forum suggests this is a place where Detroit Red Wings fans would like to come and talk Canucks vs. Bruins. We generally don't have a problem when fans of other teams come to talk hockey, as long as they respect the fact that they are on our turf. Coming in here and talking smack about our team does nothing to better the reputation of your team or its fans. We simply want to talk about the series - respect that and don't get butthurt when we retaliate after one of your own comes and starts talking like the Canucks' s*** don't stink.
