I am glad that you have been able to attend many Capitals' games. But as a season ticket holder for the last five years, I am baffled by your statements that we are overconfident. Seriously? Have you read any of the Caps boards?

What he is doing is beyond ridiculous for a defensman. He is a +24 and 38 of his 70 points are on the PP. That means he didn't get a +1 for those. So in other words all parts of his game are on, he isn't just an offensive defensmen.

Love that he says "cars, trucks and suv's" instead of spelling out S-U-V's. He's adorable.

Cherry has a point. The atmosphere in Detroit in the mid to late '90s was totally different than it is today. Fans love guys like Probert, Kocur and McCarty. I understand the economy is part of it, but it is certainly not entirely to blame. About Ovechkin. As someone who moved from Detroit to DC a few years ago, I can tell you that AO celebrates the way he does because he truly LOVES the game of hockey. I realize people may take it the wrong way but its just how he is, and he should not have to change. DC is now compared to cities like Montreal and Boston for the great hockey atmosphere. Not saying this to be a jerk, I am a Red Wings fan, and think they have a very skillfull team, they just don't seem to have the same passion, and I think the fans notice.

Congratulations Greener!!!!! As far as defense coming first regardless of a player being a forward or a defensemen, why? Why is not allowing a goal better than scoring a goal?

Don't forget that Green has also missed 13 games this season.

I have waited all year for this game! After growing up in MI and being a Red Wings fan for many years, I have officially converted. Gotta root for the Caps this game. They are just such a fun team to watch. I'll be at the Turtle after the game as well!
