  1. Size doesn't matter too much in the regular season, but come playoff time when the reds swallow the whistles it makes a big difference.
  2. Man you are really reaching aren't you? Hudler will have another mediocre year and possibly be part of a deal at the deadline.
  3. I wasn't really ripping on joey as much as I was the lions ingeneral. I always liked joey and wished he would materialize into a solid QB.
  4. The most amazing thing about that video is pb the scroll at the bottom says Joey Harrington threw for 309 yds and 2 tds. I honestly think I remember that game cuz he didn't have many like that.
  5. I don't understand this post
  6. I don't think they actually want to trade thosr players, they just simply can't afford them. Look at the Indians in baseball, do you think they wanted to trade cc, cliff lee, and victor martinez? No they simply were too good for a small market team to afford so rather than lose them in free agency, you get what u can in a trade.
  7. How adding three hall of famers is considered "tweaking" the team is just beyond me. Anyway as far as the article goes I really don't have any problems with what the writer says, as it stands right now we don't have any stand-out prospects that seem to be locks to be elite in the future. There's a few maybes there but nothing to really get too excited about. The Wings havent done anything to get better this summer and are truthfully a worse team right now than we were last year, meanwhile Columbus, LA, Minnesota, and San Jose seem to be getting better. As it stands right now I see the wings as a 6-8 seed in the playoffs next year as Datsyuk and Zetterberg are still elite in the league, but we wont be blowing the doors off of anyone. I just thank God Lids returned otherwise we would truly be boned.
  8. Put number 30 in the rafters, the guy deserves it. After all the criticism he gets, he os still one of the few guys with 400 wins.
  9. well this thread looks like its getting pretty heated.... anyway whats with the Tampa fans throwing all that s*** on the ice? Total bush league s*** there, though i guess for a lot of them its their first time ever at a hockey game so they probably dont know any better.
  10. I like the matchup personally the rangers are a good pick anyway, maybe could've been Toronto or something to give a Canadian team a chance, but philly is good too. I think people on here just like to complain.. I mean Colorado vs. Dallas?, I don't think that would quite draw the viewership that the nhl is looking for. Ratings/ money will always win out over fairness .
  11. I think if Franzen is 100% or really close to it, theres no doubt that he should be playing. I mean come on, it's the Mule we're talking about here. Though i do agree if he's is the same shape as game 5 then he should sit. Anyhow..Lest Go Wings, make some history. :siren: :octo: :siren:
  12. Im just hoping for a 2002 style 7-0 ass whoopin in game 7, i cant take another close game.
  13. I don't know how much longer I can watch hockey anymore when every hit is a penalty. And It's not just because its a red wing in the box. Watch any game anymore and any big hit is scrutinized in slow motion to see ifthe head was touched. It's getting annoying
  14. I agree with this and if Boesch keeps it up I think the everyday lineup should look like this: CF-Jackson LF-Raburn RF/DH-Boesch 1B-Cabrera C-VMart RF/DH-Ordonez SS-Peralta 3B-Inge 2B-Rhymes
  15. why not Pittsburgh?
