I usually go to both games in Vancouver every year (since I live so close). It ain't bad unless you start s***. Lower bowl is never an issue but you'll catch some verbal shots if you're in the upper bowl. If the Wings win/are winning the Canucks fans won't say anything but if the Canucks are winning/win then they will start yapping. Just calmly remind them about your championships and keep it moving......

Actually, it's hard to figure what the Wings could possibly send to Edmonton to make a deal work. To make room on the roster for other forwards currently part of the team. Helm is a good player; he just doesn't help the situation. The one name that jumps out at me is defenseman Niklas Kronwall. The 30 year-old Swedish defenseman contributed 37pts last season, including 5 power play goals. Would a Hemsky for Kronwall swap make sense? Close . Hemsky is younger, but Kronwall has a better health history. Both players are set to become UFA's next summer if they can not be re-signed. Unlike Letang, Kronwall is more Top 4 than Top 2. But that being said, his addition would certainly upgrade the Oilers defense. Perhaps the trade rumor here is to suggest the Oilers would move Hemsky for Kronwall and a draft pick. Perhaps a 2nd rounder? Relax: The Wings always play well, so a "2nd round pick" from Detroit is more or less a 3rd round pick. There could be conditional picks tied to this deal that would activate if either player signs a contract extension and stays with their new deal.

I was going to wear my red franzen to game 3 and my white cleary to game 4 (only other red I have is Z and I dont want to break that out until he returns). But after reading this I got a new red lids stitched up just to rock for game 4.

Just got centre ice tickets to games 3 & 4 (section 111 & 112) off ticketmaster today. Sad those were still available. WILL BE ROCKING RED!!

i met kieth tkachuk at the roxy. the ladies were all over him. we chatted while he was waiting for a cab. i told him i was a detroit fan and we would love to have him for 500k. he laughed and said he really loved st louis and was going to stay there to finish his career. this was like 3-4 years ago. good guy.
