Wow... What happened to LGW being about Hockey? No need for the Off Topic Pics IMO... Go wings!

This forum loves and hates players at the drop of a hat. Players are better with the Wings than they are anywhere else because of the supporting cast in Detroit (on and off the ice). Comparing stats isn't going to prove any point, their playstyle is the same. Bottom Line.... Williams = Sammy... love it or hate it, they're pretty much the same player... Wings with Williams playing on the 3rd line are better than Wings with Maltby playing on the third line. I'm cool with it. 29,4Lyfe! (not really...)

I live in Austin Texas... The local radio guy, durring the Sports Segment after Game 4 said "There was some hockey on last night too, but I didn't watch it, nobody cares about it" and then they had a discussion on how the lockout ruined hockey... The Stars just moved their AHL Affiliate here, hopefully that helps. Before that, everybody just assumed that the "Austin Ice Bats" were the top notch, and they play in the Central Hockey League. (the what? my point exactly) I consider myself the St. Peter of Hockey down here just spreading the good word. I encourage others in Non Markets to do the same.

Sammy is a great 3rd line guy. 3rd liners are supposed to score some random timely goals. Keep in mind, just before scoring that goal, he had a sweet block on a shot by..... Lebda... I like Sammy in the playoffs, next year though.... we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

Man... What is with everyone saying this? Can nobody give the Red Wings credit for finally waking up? Do the Ducks fans really think that they're playing against a Detroit Team that is firing on all Cylinders if Hossa hasn't scored yet? I didn't think the Ducks played that bad. Hiller - maybe... but overall, I think they played pretty good. Their forward had 2 assists... Neidermeier had a goal, and Pronger went to the box... sounds like a normal Ducks game. They had some good Offensive shifts, good cycles, good looks at the net... Ozzie made some big saves and the Wings stepped up. The Ducks were'nt that bad, the Wings were just that Good.

I'm sorry that you guys can't get NHL Net... but man... this channel is amazing. The Post Game Coverage is great, the shows that are on are great (Day in the Life, Captains, NHL Classic). I watched the 98 Cup Video on NHL Net... how freakin cool is that? So - Moral of the Story, don't hate the NHL Network, hate Time Warner or Charter, or whoever you have. and get Uverse
