I cannot imagine the Wings win this game even though the Canucks also play bad. It is not I am being natural pessimist as mindfly but as Luongo seems to reform his game, it would be hard to beat them by looking at our offenses could score only few goals during last few games. But here is my hope the Wings win this game and end the slump streak

I like his realism but I think it is not really necessary to say on the media. Everyone knows the Wings have been the best NHL team for last years and years but this year may be toughest year. Be genuine, the Wings are not comparable with Calgary, San Jose, and Pittsburgh at this point. Things usually get changed but by the roster we have now, it would be hillarious if the Wings get past the 2nd round. It is time for some people here to find out the truth. Not bashing specific people but some people here are way too optimisic about the Wings by how they performed in last many years. What is funny about some people in this forum is that the ONLY reason the Wings lost because they played lazy or the opponent goalie was insanely awesome. Both are the factors the team needs to overcome to win the game. If the Wings lost by those two reasons, it is extremely funny to call them PROFESSIONAL PLAYERS. I think it is the year that many bandwagon Wings fans leave. Be patient. This is not the end of the world. Watch 20 more games and come back to the thread

Now, another loss to Avalanche. I am not being paniced or being a bandwagon with the terrible start but here is a thing. Since the start of the last season, our PK and terrible defenses have been weak issues. I thought it would be fixed as the time passed but it was not. Now, it is the new season but nothing done with that. Get worse, our best players do not play like best players in other teams' best players do. Everyone says Zetterberg's points went down because he minds to play two way style. That may be true but he does not look as great as in 07-08 season. Besides, Rafalski's defensive weakness look worse than the last season and Franzen is out, Holmstrom is already old. Datsyuk is the only guy who looks to play like the team's best player since the last season. The numerical value of salary cap usually says how important the player is for the team. Be honest, even though Zetterberg looked to get a discount, I am really disappointed at his play from the last season to present. Rafalski, 6 million D on the chart, plays bad D for so many games.. I am not somewhat bashing the players but as we saw last season, time is moving more quickly than we think. Sorry if you guys do not understand my English due to a foreigner but I think this issue is the main reason why the Wings play really bad over terrible PK and D.
