Yes, that's exactly it. A junior player is eligible to play in the AHL if they will be 20 years old by December 31st of that season OR has already played 4 seasons in the CHL. Because Veleno was granted exceptional status, he's already played his 4 years of junior and can play in Grand Rapids next season.
I think he has a real shot to make the Red Wings roster out of camp next season, but wouldn't be surprised to see him start with in GR. I think he'll get a good look in Detroit at some point next season though.

I thought that the master plan, was to have Lidstrom's sons breed with Yzerman's daughters, and make us plenty of "Perfect Red Wings". 
 
And just by coincidence, Datsyuk's house, which has been for sale or rent, since Summer of 2015, had it's listing pulled at the end of March. And, it's still fully furnished, so all he has to do is bring a suitcase or two, and unpack.

Weather permitting... No carts allowed yet. We've had a lot of rain lately, as well as the ground thawing, so there's a lot of very wet areas.
I don't golf that often anymore. Having some pretty bad back problems that have been made worse by a knee and hip replacement that put my spine off kilter. I'm a 65 year old man, living in the body of a 95 year old, and the mind of a 15 year old. If I were Old Yeller, I would have been taken out behind the barn, years ago.

As a swede I can testify to this. It does not come natural to us. 
But then again, chirping is an artform, not a lot of people regardless of nationality is any good at it.

We gotta keep in mind that GM's/scouts/front office are going over these prospects with a fine tooth comb...Interviews, and physicals lie ahead in which some of the top 20 could jump ahead on some teams radar, and others go completely off it (like I mentioned in another thread - Holland, and Co are really big into maturity/leadership - that right there might knock a few outta the top 10 for them).
I'm just hoping there's quality milfs in the audience...Hopefully the AC will go down in the American Airlines Arena, and they'll be scantily clad
