I like the lines, but there is no point relly to switch eaves with Bert... maybe it would motivate him but Bert has looked decent from time to time.. He actually back checked yesterday and saved a goal... how about these lines: Zetts Dats Homer Franzen Flip Leino Bert Helm Willy May Draper Maltby

Yet Homer single handily mad a beautiful pass to Datsyuk who failed to convert on a 1 on 1ish situation... and he screened the goalie leading to that powerplay goal too... When he iced it, it was a planed play that didn't work, it happens... Although i will give you Chicago's goal was his fault... he should have got it out of the zone a few times before they scored... The point is, he made a bad play that cost us, but also made many good plays that helped us, so everybody needs to take it easy with the homer bashing, its a little ridiculous

wow, i don't what your watching but helm is not better than holmstrom at anything except speed... Holmstrom is a MUCH better passer, puck handler, and has a better shot... plus he is a proven player... Before Holmstrom got hurt in the 2007 playoffs, he was in the running for the Con Smyth if we would have won! he had a legit chance ... Helm is not proven... the only rookie that could possibly make Zetterberg and Datsyuk better players is Leino, not Helm, and thats becaues he IS a scorer

the volume of the crowd and announcers means absolutely nothing... I'm not sure I understand how a cheering crowd in a PLAYOFF GAME on a PENALTY KILL will have any effect on Helm being a great goal scorer... I think you are missing the point here... Helm is not a GOAL scorer... he works hard, and can get goals... his role is to do exactly what that video proved: give us energy... He is not big like Homer and can't stand in front of the net, which is exactly the kind of hockey the Wings play... helm is a good player, don't get me wrong, but he wouldn't be more effective than Homer on the first line.

Helm is a good player, but the system the wings play wouldn't really compliment Helms abilities... the wings get their skill guys to make plays and shoot the puck a lot and look for a big body in front of the net to put it away... Thats what Homer does best, although i do agree his abilities have diminished the last couple year or so... But Helm for Homer because he will score 80? come on... thats reaching

when i think lebda, i think of that play last year in the playoffs against columbus... He made the worst pinch i have ever seen, followed by a two on one and a goal... its one thing if its a one time mistake, but its not... we need lilija back for sure... he at least makes lebda a little more responsible defensively

Datsyuk and zetterberg barely played together in the season last year. It always seems like babcock would rather split them up to create two deadly lines instead of just the one (even though the top two line will be deadly no matter what). Hank and franzen always play good together, and so does cleary when he plays with both of them. Holmstrom needs datsyuk, he would be extremely unproductive on the 4th line with draper and maltby so that will not happen. I dont thik leino has proven himself as a 2nd line player yet, although he had some good games when he was on the wings... Heres my take on the line... cleary-zetterberg-franzen holmstrom-datsyuk-filpula williams-helm-leino maltby-draper-eaves also, is anybody a little nervous about the osgood/howard combo... Osgood is good but if he starts at all like he did last year and doesn't have somebody like conklin to back him up, it could get ugly.... I keep thinking about that game against Minnesota last hear where howard played terrible...
