Cannot win a game without scoring some goals... apparently we can't defend or score now, so the result is obvious. At least they scored one, so it's not a shut out. Best we can do now, I guess.

We may have seen Howard's last game today. That makes me sad. He deserves a better ending to his career, and he's been good for the Wings. This year, he needed help, and none is forthcoming from this roster. That is not all his fault. The management made major mistakes this season. The team has no chemistry, no leadership, and no coaching on or off the ice. Not naming a Captain was a mistake. They are rudderless and have no common focus as a team. Change my mind on any of this.

that would be wonderful from my perspective... but they love nothing better than to throw insults and shade at the Wings, even when we're playing well.. so this is low-hanging fruit for the NBC slappies... they are enjoying this train wreck. edit: they only have one more Wings game this season on March 26th... so I hope they enjoy today...
