I hate the Center Ice commercials on the NHL Network. It shows Crosby scoring a goal against the Wings in the first second of it and says "If Crosby lights the lamp in Pittsburgh, will you cheer in Denver?" or something stupid like that. Then it goes on to Luongo and Ovie. And guess how often it's on? EVERY ******* COMMERCIAL BREAK. I stopped hating Crosby nearly as much as I did in 09 until that stupid commercial came out. And I bet it will be on every commercial break until next summer. How about evening things up, NHL? Can you play a commercial that's similar style in Pittsburgh showing Zetterberg scoring against the Penguins during every commercial break? Sorry for the rant. It's 4 am and I need sleep.

Wait wait wait... First game in the Penguins new arena isn't going to be televised? You mean the NHL hates the Red Wings so much that it cancels out their love for Crosby? Hahaha! Just kidding...but seriously.

I know a couple of Pens fans IRL and they're actually quite knowledgeable. Now the Hawks "fans" I've met/talked to have no idea wtf they're talking about. I'm willing to bet that 90% of Chicago's fans don't even know that there's a regular season.

50 bucks? That's a ticket to a Wings game! Or a cheaper ticket to a Wings game and a couple of 24 ounce Molsons while I'm there.

I want big Bert to start using his size but I'm not sure if that will ever happen. Also, I'd like to see him use two hands on the stick more often. He tries to make pretty plays/goals but he should just be concerned about getting goals at all. I never understood why so many Wings fans hate him. I'm excited to see him and Mule and Flip play together. Mule and Bert could make some magical things happen if they play like they did in game 4 against San Jose.

Not the first game against Pittsburgh, though. The first one is on the 22nd. I guess most preseason games aren't going to be televised? I hate that. :/ At least play them on FSD+!

My dog is pretty sweet. Shelty mixed with wiener dog. My sister got him from a rescue shelter about 2 years ago. I wish I could donate but I just spent the last of my money on books for college.

I was there for Oktoberfest night at the Joe this last season and they had some Oktoberfest flavor beer or something like that. I stuck to good old Molson XXX though. XXX has a high alcohol content so I got the most bang for the buck. Edit: And here's the picture of one of them. Looks pretty clean to me.

How am I dealing with the off-season? Watching a lot of Red Wings game highlights, trolling blackhawks fans, and going to the beach. Sometimes I go up to the bar or go to the occasional bonfire, too.
