Commodore is probably telling the truth about a lot of the stuff he says, but he has such a twisted obsession with Babcock that it is impossible to take him seriously. The guy is a ******* loser who only can get attention by lambasting one guy over and over again.

Man some people reacting to the retirement calling him a "garbage human" and "mediocre" are insane. Definitely had a controversial hitting record, but the guy was a good defenseman and good part of Red Wings history.

Guys, the horn is not the same. It is a recording of the horn because they couldn't bring the old one in (flammable gasses or something). Unless they brought it in after the home opener and worked around it. -

As yes, the Gustavsson principle. Are you saying last night Mrazek would have let in 4 goals but his clutchness and intangibles would have willed the Wings offense to score more on the few shots they took? -

I love how Howard helps get the team a point but the focus is that he didn't get the extra point because he is bad at a gimmick. Also, keep in mind that Mrazek hasn't exactly lit up the sky recently (two games in a row with a sub-.900 save percentage), so I don't understand why people are so excited to go right back to him. He should have a bounce-back game, but I also thought he was going to have a bounce-back game against Nashville. -

This is an old report, something that is all speculation on the part of the bartender making the claims, having no idea who it is that is making the accusation. The bigger problem is there apparently is no evidence of Kane's DNA below her waist, which could be very problematic for her case.

You didn't think Quincey was solid? I thought he did a great job. Kindl was okay, but had some unforced icings which were a problem. Not really inspiring me with confidence in terms of an 82 game season.

To the degree people argue Filppula is affected? I liked Fil up until last season where he played himself out of a Wings uniform. Spin it all you like, but he had a terrible year and did not warrant a contract. Also Weiss has not been bad. That's a garbage opinion to support a garbage assertion. And Franzen's production has been steady regardless of his linemates, as well as Hudler's production. Filppula is not a dynamic player who makes them around him better. -

Yeah, must be really terrible to have a guy like Nyquist with you on the powerplay. You are essentially saying that Filppula cannot generate offensive himself, but is completely reliant on his linemates to create offense, even on the powerplay. -
Looks like the last two are Shanahan and Robbie Tallas (?). My guess is Tallas because it looks like a 2000 patch on his jersey, and it could be either a 34 or 35. Obscure goaltender, haha.
