Darvesh88..... Thanks for the update on Lil's Blog. I don't post on here much either but read everyday what the regular posters are saying....This is a great blog with some of the funniest posts, from lengthy analysis to outstanding one liners...Always gives me a grin in the morning. Glad to see that optimism prevails with Lil's and hopefully the rest of the team. The red wings ARE the best NHL franchise and we have proved in the past we can do anything. It's a kind of magic!!!!!!!! At the end of the playoffs, THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE !!! GO WINGS

Ok.....we've tried ranting, cursing, analyzing, and all means of Hockey philosophy to try and coax a win.. How about Lord Stanley's prayer........ Our Red Wings who art in Phoenix, Hockey be thy name. Thy will be done when the cup is won, on our ice & in our stands. Give us this day plentiful goals. Forgive our penalties, but we won't forgive those who cross check against us. Lead us not into elimination but deliver us to victory. I won't listen to VS announcers either. I turn down the sound and listen to the radio broadcast. Pretty tough getting a station up hear in the wilderness, but listening to a static filled AM broadcast is better than the "Cindy" show on VS.... GO WINGS

Yup.....agreed. The amount of energy he brings to each game is fantastic. I like the chemistry that line brings to the game. It seems that I look forward to line changes just to get them on the ice. Even if they don't score you can tell it shakes the other team up just to see the speed and the "never give up on the puck" attitude.

Yup......everytime I open LGW my Norton anti-virus goes nuts.... It gave me a list of every thread that had problems...17 total.

I'm sipping a LaBatt beer (one of many), living in northern michigan, and still not convinced which team is better. Oh well.......(pssshhhtt...another beer opening) Here's to Hockey... And to the WINGS!!!!!!!

I like the chances of the wings in the playoffs......... But I'm looking at these next 21 games as if we were playing them next fall. Can we win 14 of the next 21?....Could we start off next fall with this team and be hungry enough for a cup next year? Or will we win 7 or 8 games and not see the chemistry that we are all wanting to see? With a healthy team and a favorable schedule, these 21 games should give the coaches and the fans a great look at where we might be next year. If the team isn't hungry now, then will they be hungry next fall?????? Frustrating season, but has been great watching the young talent come in and keep us in the hunt !!!!!! Go wings!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup....I agree... Oh well.....a point is a point.....buttttttttttttttttt....we gotta start winning sometime REAL soon.......

Maybe I'm too much of an optomist.....but.... 34 games left. If we win 2, lose 1 and OTL 4 over the next 34 games, that's 100 points for the season. Compared to last years stats that would almost give us home ice for the first round. I really think they can do that !!!!!!!

I grew up in northern Michigan so never got to go to games when I was young. I use to listen to wings games on an old AM radio that would fad in and out....That was in the 60's. Just the wild excitment from the play-by-play was enough to get me hooked. Went to Michigan State during the Amo Bessone (Amo's Army!!!) years, but still loved to listen to the wings.... Now at least I get to watch them......Thanks to FSD.....Have been to 1 game at the Joe my entire life.... I still like to listen on the old AM radio once in a while though..........Days gone by....
