If I could go and see the wings play once a year here my life would immediately improve my at least 500%.

We want Houston! Toyota center used to host the Aeros up until a few years ago, we have the facility and the population to support a hockey team already.

I like the idea of factoring the last few years, it would keep teams from going to the finals one year and then getting the first round pick the next year (MTL 21, 22). Or teams having one down year, getting lucky in the lotto and adding a high pick to an already good roster (NYR 20). It would help out the the teams that have been struggling for a while instead of teams that have just had a bad year. -

So day by day you become less and less brave, but you still think it is "the bravest thing you could do in todays society". I'm just trying to understand your logic. I think it is pretty brave of the players to stand up against their organization and the league, I think in today's society it is the bravest thing they can do.

We are currently living in the most accepting times ever. A time where being your true self is celebrated, there is a whole month for it. "Today's society" is probably the easiest time you could be rainbow. I'm not sure how brave it really is.

I agree with this. Every time someone suggests we get deeper down the middle they suggest we pick up a #2C. Why not try for someone better than we already have, and get a new #1C that moves Larkin to the #2.

My feeling about the hit: - The hit was a little high, it did seem like the initial contact was in the head. - We have had big hitters on our team before and the consensus after a big hit is always, "The other guy needs to keep his head up and looking forward". It is no different when the hits come our way. It's simple, when a guy like Reaves is on the ice you should always know where he is for your own good. -

Move them to Houston. 4th largest city in the US. Everyone here is from up north somewhere. The Aeros used to do really well here before the Wild moved them closer to home. There is a proper arena with an owner who has an interest in bringing hockey here. I think it would work better than most people think, Dallas is doing pretty well still.

For decades, at the end of the night they filled the urinals at the Joe with ice. Everyone loved drilling holes in that ice. Don't fire the dude if he feel nostalgic every time he sees a pile of ice. The urge to drill those holes can be overwhelming.
