Franks Fails. It should be it's own subcategory at this point.

Who are you referring to???
-
Have you been following the league? Players far beyond Mitch AHL Callahan and AHL Andersson have cleared. This isn't hard.
-
Yeah, Ken Hollands gonna go out and get OEL. Just like he got Dion Phaneuf.
-
People don't pay for garbage. This isn't NHL16. Loads of better players went unclaimed. Why is that so hard to understand?

Stupid math freaks playing their hockey on excel spreadsheets. I need to listen to godsmack and have a go at my speedbag just to be able to handle this.

Do you know who we have to thank for this? COACH MIKE FREAKING BABCOCK

No doubt, I don't think Babs will turn around the Leafs. I think a a crappy team will have a great coach and they will continue to suck like always. Meanwhile the Wings make cup runs -
Don't be stupid Rick, I respect you already
-
Seriously everyone respects that Dats is a lose. But Helm is a huge loss too. One of, if not, Our fastest and most defensive forwards.
-
I've never been serious. But if so, Dats for new coach?

Babs is the one who put himself on the hotseat. Not us. If he fails in Toronto, we will get an infinite source of laughter for years to come. If he does well, screw it he's Babcock, of course he did well. F the Leafs. Winning = Detroit. -
I give Babs the credit on Abby because when he chose to play Abby at this position, at the time, Abby was far from what we considered a top line power forward. By fan standards he was a grinder. A career 3rd/4th liner. Babs trusted him and made him a top 6er. Look back to when Babs first assigned him first line duties. RW fans almost universally rejected it regarding Abby as a bottom 6er. Now look at him. Abdelkader is honestly one of Babs best moves as a coach. Literally no one saw it coming besides him.
-
IDK why everyone is so reluctant to show Babcock praise. He was and still is the best coach in this league. He just has a beyond piss poor team now. Abby owes his career to Babs, and rightly so. Blash showed his skills today with the line adjustments. He's good. I just hope he has the vision to discover another Abdelkader, and not just bank off the Abdelkader that Babs created.

Dan Cleary with his master manipulation skills and evil plotting tricked the green horn red wings for years. The stories of him being a leader, lockerroom model, and beloved teammate are all lies. LIES

3v3 is more man advantage plays than it is breakaways. I want speed more for defensive reasons than offensive anyway. Like you said, guys are going to be open regardless of speed. What I want is the guy's who close the gap on puck carriers/pass receivers quickly. And guys who can go North/South in a hurry, especially on the backcheck.

2 of me? I save the good stuff for holidays like today. My mommy won't let me drink and smoke cigars unless I finish all my meatloaf. She makes terrible meatloaf. -

Tonight we open the nice bottle of scotch! Hooray -
Datsyuk - Tatar Green Zetterberg - Nyquist Kronwall Helm - Richards? Smith Kind of hard leaving DK out
-
3v3 is all about speed. I'd want Helm and Smith out there.
-
And that's the ironic part. It doesn't trickle down. They just take what they would've given to middle of the road players and give it to the superstars
-
The other side of the coin is, when these players 'cash in' they set a new benchmark for all players. By getting the most they can they're effectively raising the price on future contracts for their fellow players. It's a players vs owners mentality that is accentuated with every lock out. I still prefer guys like Lids obviously, but I understand why others do what they do. Money talks.
