I would hate to be a Flyers fan right now. You trim the contracts of Richards to make room for Bryz and get rid of Bobrovsky who wins the Vezina this year. Only to use a buy-out on him. Yikes!

If Flip goes to free agency and gets signed by another team I am going to be shaking my head at Holland for not trading his rights. At least get a 7th rounder. We have seen what we can do with late picks. The fact that at this time his rights haven't been traded leads me to believe Holland is still negotiating with Flip. -

If the wings gave up Tatar, who just dominated the AHL playoffs, for Ryan I would personally start the pillaging of Hollands home. If you can swing Franzen in a trade then great. If not, no thanks. -

Sakic is dumb for saying anything. If you know you won't take jones then trade the 1st overall pick for the second or 3rd overall pick and maybe get a second round pick in the deal too. Why do you need to show all your cards right now?

New rule: in order to score a shootout goal a player must 1) skate through a series of ten cones 2) skate around a midget balancing 5 plates without making him drop any. 3) jump through a ring of fire 4) limbo under a pole 5) and then put the puck in the net. -

Datsyuk is much older than Malkin. I don't think this changes much for Datsyuk. Plus he isn't a Federov holdout for more money type of player.

At least they haven't been trading away draft picks or prospects lately to help fill their lineup...wait....oh your saying they did?....oh nevermind they're screwed!

Can anyone crunch the numbers and see what their cap situation will be like next year. Gotta imagine that if they resign Letang they will have to sign scrubs to fill out their lineup.
