What are your guys' opinions on having Mike Knuble at camp? Would he be a good fit for the Wings?

Honestly, if it were possible, I would not try to trade Flips. I would get rid of Franzen, yeah, but Flip is just getting hot in my mind. Yeah, he's 28. The last few years he has been a 30-40 point guy. He has added to his ice time and taken on more responsibility. Last year he grabbed 66 points. He's heating up and he could potentially be one of our higher point getters. A little rough around the edges, but he's getting there. Franzen is 32 and added 56 points, but I would just rather have the younger kid who could heat up to be 70-80 points on a good year. Just my two cents.

Just a thought and he's really nothing that could really help us out in a huge way, but maybe a guy like Tim Gleason could help us out a little bit. Trade him for something small. He's physical and could definitely help out our D. 29 years old though. Not so much an offensive defensemen, but he can get dirty. Remember he took a puck to the face and came back later that game. A guy to maybe fill in a small hole. Don't rip me for a tiny suggestion that you guys might think is idiotic. :b

I've been seeing more and more about Gill. That'd be a good pickup. Big guy, throws his weight around.

I could have definitely seen that they were going to pursue Allen and Gill. I've seen Oduya's name pop up a little bit too.
