Alright, I'm sure this is BS to the fullest extent but Hockey Leaks has reported this.

Freep: OMG FU BETTMAN! Not a big deal.

HockeyyInsiderr is total garbage.

Has anyone considered that the $9-10 million figure would be his salary, not his cap hit? As fans, all we should care about is the cap hit. Richards made $12 million this year with a $10 million signing bonus and his cap hit was $6.66 million.

There's got to be another move coming. Holland wouldn't give up defensive depth for the hell of it.

LA's not going to trade their captain to Detroit with the possibility that the two teams will play each other in the first round.

LA's not going to trade Brown to Detroit. They might play each other in the first round.

I'm not sure how reputable this source (TVA sports) is, but they're saying the Wings have offered Xavier Ouellet to Montreal for Moen. Here's a translation via Google:

Just because they have defensive depth doesn't mean they can't make an upgrade. Kubina would've been an upgrade over Kindl and Commodore. That's like saying, "They have 14 forwards, why do they even need to make a trade?!"
-
That guy is probably just talking out of his ass, but I can see the Wings being interested in Kubina. He's huge, he's experienced, and he's a right-handed shot which would help the second PP unit.

At least The Core is intact.

This isn't a rumor. There's video evidence: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n3YExipt7yI&feature=related

Why are people suggesting that trading for Selanne if he's only going to be here for the playoffs isn't worth it? It's always worth it if you win the Stanley Cup. Do you think Boston really regrets trading for Kaberle? Of course not. Selanne is an elite forward that would help this team win the Cup.

Emmerton is a fourth liner, tops, in the NHL. Andersson projects to be a bottom-six forward. Despite the fact that he's having a good year, Hudler is a free agent at the end of the season. If Dallas wants him, they can sign him for nothing in July. There's very little value there.
-
You set yourself up for disappointment. Why would other teams take the Wings' scraps in return for valuable pieces?
-
Regehr would be a great addition. He'd beef up the defense for the playoffs and could replace Stuart next year.
-
I was thinking the same thing. Holland and Regier are good friends and Regehr would make a good replacement for Stuart next year. Hopefully they could snag both him and Gaustad.
-
Stuart and Hudler have no value to sellers.

I'm listening to the Marek vs. Wyshynski podcast from two days ago (Jan. 25) and they had Ken Daniels on as a guest. One of them asked Daniels if he expects Detroit to be active at the deadline and he said: He also said he expects Lidstrom to keep playing unless there's a lockout.

Unbelievable. Ilitch is the man.

Just found this tweet from Sean Hartnett, a NY/NJ area reporter: He was referring to this tweet from Fischler:
