The kid is clearly NHL capable, sure it's only been 2 games but he's producing (on the top line at that) and we're a much better team WITH him than without him. If he struggles, let him make his mistakes (and learn from them) against his peers, not minor leaguers. I don't think anyone is expecting him to hit 30 goals, but let him cut his teeth playing alongside Z and D, that opportunity won't be around for much longer. With that said, tomorrow is going to be his first real test and I'm really looking forward to watching him skate circles around McDavid on the 21st.

It's hard not to get excited, preseason or not we've got some serious depth. I'm looking forward to Saturday's game so we can show Babs what he walked away from.

It would be foolish to not get Larkin a shot, he's head and shoulders beyond Pulks as far as hockey IQ. If he can perform at the NHL level and produces points, then put the kid in the lineup.

Nike started all the "athletic shoe manufacturer getting a piece of the hockey world" in the 90's by slapping the swoosh on Bauer equipment and getting players like Fedorov and Sundin to endorse it. I don't mind it but being old school I think hockey jerseys should be sponsored by hockey manufacturers (Koho, CCM, Bauer).
