  2. I have read a lot of charming articles about Damien Brunner the last weeks in european hockey news. Right now he is topscorer in the swiss NLA again. Leading the list by far in front of players like Logan Couture, Tyler Seguin, Rick Nash, Patrice Bergeron and others. He is playing in a line with Henrik Z. right now. Hope to see him in a NHL Game this year, but maybe this is not gonna be happen sadly. I thougt maybe this could be interesting for some of us. Right here the topscorer link with some other NHLers too... greetings from germany
  3. @ Johnz96 skating ability is not just speed alone. but that wasnt what i ment. maybe i used the wrong words. in other words... i hope he is keeping his head up when he cuts the middle. i think his stats in the swiss league speak for him. in the lockout 04/05 just a few but not many stars from the nhl played in this league.
  4. brunner seems to be a good add to our team. he has some good hands, nice speed and a great shot. but am i the only one, who sees a little issue in his skating abilities? i hope im not right, but he might look like a concussion candidate too... by the way. take a look at the stats, joe thornton and rick nash had in the swiss league in the lockout 04/05 comparing to damien... 2004/05 HC Davos-Swiss Games-40 Goals-10 Assist-44 Points-54 PIM-80 (Thornton) 2004/05 HC Davos-Swiss Games-44 Goals-26 Assist-20 Points-46 PIM-83 (Nash) 2010/11 EV Zug Games-45 Goals-24 Assist-36 Points-60 PIM (?) (Brunner)
  5. im also happy with the tootoo signing. we need more toughness. badly.
  6. maybe thats a problem too. you can just get better when you play against better teams. in my opinion our young guys dont get enough chances to develop them selves. if you play constantly in lower leagues you gonna adapt this style of playing and speed. our draft picks should get a chance earlier to play nhl, instead of playing minors for years.
  7. total agree to that.
  8. that sucks. signing semin would have given us a little push in the offense for sure, even if he has a lack of heart. he is a natural scorer and he will score some for the hurricanes. maybe ken is going to risky on signing doan.
  9. Mike Richards and Jerome Iginla.
