I agree about Mantha. He's one of the few things I enjoy about this team. Since being recalled Zadina has been just as good, if not better, than Fabbri. To be honest I think they're redundant at the moment, but just considering age and potential I like Zadina better still by a pretty good margin. I was disappointed with his start with the Griffins, but he's been a pleasant surprise lately.

He's always done stuff like that. Gets overly dramatic trying to draw calls too. I get this feeling Larkin has a really annoying personality tbh, but It's probably what makes him so competitive. I prefer Zadina to Fabbri. Fight me nerd.

Honestly, It's very hard not to want Byfield. As Mickey would say the kid seems like a legit thoroughbred. I'm still on the Lafreniere train but tbh if we picked 2nd and had the choice taken away from us I wouldn't be mad. I have this fear we fall to 4th and take Askarov though, reaaaaaally dreading it.

I very much understand everyone's thoughts regarding Zadina and have zero interest in arguing his draft position and the supposed expectation that we place on it. I was very simply stating that saying he's trending the same as Lias Andersson is empirically wrong, and pretty ******* stupid lol, them's just the facts. If mackel doesn't want people s***ting on his posts he should choose his arguments more carefully rather than shoehorn in random, unprompted snide remarks as often as he does. It kills the credibility, and looks desperate. To clarify I actually like a lot of mackel's posts when he's not obsessing over Zadina and being intentionally abrasive just for the sake of it. I don't think he's actually stupid, but rather just a gigantic turd.

He's trending in the right direction while playing in the NHL at the moment and folks are reasonably excited. What's the issue there? The point isn't that he's suddenly dominant, it's about incremental steps forward. That's all that should be expected really. Zadina looked like a different player when he started going on that little hot streak in Grand Rapids, just prior to his call up. Looking like he found himself a nice rhythm, hopefully it continues. Without Mantha I find the team considerably less fun to watch, so Zadina playing well is a nice fill in. Also, what's this Discord I'm hearing about?

I used to think this, but I've lost faith tbh. I don't really care if he finishes out this year but he should definitely be gone next year assuming there's a viable option available to replace him. This isn't a bad roster playing like a well coached team. It's a bad roster playing like a poorly coached team. If anything the team just needs a change, at this rate whatever embers remain of our "culture of winning" are going to be entirely snuffed out. Then voila, you fall into the Edmonton pit.

30 dollar glass seats is what I've been paying, It's awesome. My wife likes to go to the games too so it's a win-win date night for me. Apparently Van Andel lost it's liquor license a couple of weeks ago so they're entirely alcohol free at the moment, signs everywhere warning you about it when you go in. To try and make up for it all the concession stuff is cheap as s*** right now.
