  6. 10/14 GDT : Red Wings 3 at Bruins 2

IMHO they missed calls...what was a penalty for Detroit, wasn't for Boston.
  7. 10/14 GDT : Red Wings 3 at Bruins 2

Red Wings "3", Bruins "2", Referees "0", though not for a lack of trying!!
  8. 10/14 GDT : Red Wings 3 at Bruins 2

    2-1 Wings. Datsyuk 2 goals.
  9. 10/10 GDT: Coyotes 4 at Red Wings 2

Wings 3-2 in Overtime. Alfredsson, Kronwall & Zetterberg.
  10. ESPN Poll of Anonymous Players

That's interesting!! The Reallignment both helps and hinders us greater than any other team!
  11. 10/5 GDT : Red Wings 1 at Bruins 4

Awesome GDT!! I agree this is going to be the Wings first big test of the season. It will be interesting to see how they fare against the Bruins. I think the Bruins are the Wings biggest competition for the Atlantic Division. Second game of a back-to-back so early in the season...I don't know...the Wings looked a little slow at times yesterday...hopefully their legs hold up today. My positive, team supporting response: Wings win 3-2 My feeling about what will actually happen: Bruins 3-1 (because of tired Wings, but I hope I'm wrong about this!)
  12. Patrick Roy goes crazy on Bruce Boudreau

2 people I don't like...could this possibly end in 1 cancelling the other out!!!
  13. 10/4 GDT : Red Wings 3 at Hurricanes 2 (OT)

4-2 Wings. Zetterberg, Kronwall, Andersson & Alfredsson.
  14. 10/2 GDT : Sabres 1 at Red Wings 2

    4-2 Wings.
  15. NHLPA approves hybrid icing

I like the idea of having less injuries "potentially". However, as stated above by others, my main concern is the "discretion of the referee" part. I think inevitably there will be mistakes made that will cost teams games or at the very least goals. I do think this is a step in the right direction. Hockey is often a rough game and I have no problem with that...I just don't care to see people getting hurt over an icing call.
