Awesome GDT!! I agree this is going to be the Wings first big test of the season. It will be interesting to see how they fare against the Bruins. I think the Bruins are the Wings biggest competition for the Atlantic Division. Second game of a back-to-back so early in the season...I don't know...the Wings looked a little slow at times yesterday...hopefully their legs hold up today. My positive, team supporting response: Wings win 3-2 My feeling about what will actually happen: Bruins 3-1 (because of tired Wings, but I hope I'm wrong about this!)

I like the idea of having less injuries "potentially". However, as stated above by others, my main concern is the "discretion of the referee" part. I think inevitably there will be mistakes made that will cost teams games or at the very least goals. I do think this is a step in the right direction. Hockey is often a rough game and I have no problem with that...I just don't care to see people getting hurt over an icing call.

I'm just happy to see the Wings have more original six matchups...I'm tired of watching what seems like a million games per year against the Preds & BJ's. Mrazek. I understand the arguement of getting him playing a ton of games in GR...but this kid is a quick study. He's got the stuff he needs now. Jonas is a bust for us in my opinion. I agree with St. Michael (the Red Wing)...let's have a lights out combo now!
