When do you think we will win again?  I’m gonna say one of the back to back Winnipeg games December 10-12 otherwise I’m afraid it might be next year. I thought we would be in most games this year just like last year but injuries and poor years from some of the vets could make this a historic season

I didn’t realize there was ten months difference in age. That’s significant. Something else to factor in when I make my choice lol

I don’t miss Babcock. The way he called out Brendan Smith in the media for standing up to Chara in the playoffs one year was uncalled for. He ridiculed him for standing up for his teammates. Somebody had to.   As for the Commodore situation why sign him?  He was a journeyman at best at that point. It was known that they didn’t like each other.  I’m guessing there were a half dozen other guys of equal skill level available.  I think Babcock brought him in to bury him.  I can’t blame Commodore for signing.  Who wouldn’t take the mil when you are at the end of your career anyway.  I hope Babcock gets run out of town in Toronto

Last year we drafted forwards when we should of maybe drafted another dman. This year it was the opposite. It worked out well last year and it will this year. Seider will be a big piece of our defense.  Seeing that I never went to Europe and did any scouting I will trust the guys that did. If it was me maybe I would have taken Robertson at 35 but that’s because of what I read not any real knowledge. I like this Tuo guy more every time I watch his videos and read the reports.  Hakan knows a little more than I do.  I’m fine with all of his choices

I’ve decided Byrum, Turcotte, and Dach are gonna be gone. We have a choice of Cozens, Pod, or Zegras.  Ever since someone a few pages back compared Pod to Zegras where Pod ate nails for Breakfast and Zegras baked Cupcakes I can’t back us picking him. That’s my entire reasoning for not liking him.  Once we pick him I’ll get my head around it and support him

The first two are obvious.  It looks like Bowen has cemented himself into the three spot with a great playoff.  I haven't heard anything negative about Turcotte for a while so he goes four or five.  I have a hunch Dach goes next.  That leaves Cozins or Podkolzin for us. I like Cozins

I wouldn’t mind Podkolzin either. I like what I’ve read about him. Sounds like he would be hard to play against.  I believe Cozens is a RH centre and that’s what swayed me. In a perfect world I’d take Byrum if he was there

I had made up my mind that I didn’t want Podkolzin until someone posted to a report of on Dr Dangles I believe. Now I don’t know how he isn’t the top pick. Then I had Dach at 7 until a nice post on him a couple of posts up.  I can be easily swayed to anyone I guess. I think Byrum is my top choice at 6 now

At least the Oilers didn't win it.  Or the Avs with the Sens pick.  Or the Flyers.  See there are lots of positives if youlook for them.

I find it somewhat surprising that we are dead last. Everyone knew we weren’t going to have a good team but I think  overall we have played pretty well this year. There were two early blowouts in the first seven games when we went 0-5-2 by the Bruins and Canadiens. Since then we have been close in every single game even against the upper eschelon teams. All of our younger guys are scoring and we seem to have found a couple of good rookie defensemen. Our prospect pool seems good at forward and defense. Even 3 or 4 of our junior goalies are having stellar seasons.  A good draft this year and we will looking pretty well I think
